Although I'm not sure what is going on, Support isn't helping. It has been an excellent app for me in the past and I have recommended it to many people. They seem to just copy and paste another piece of ineffective instructions I have already seen. The support team isn't reading the emails I have sent. Support has responded to numerous of my emails. I have been trying to transfer my chats from one phone to another. This is an excellent example of why Facebook and Meta products are not popular. My backup would not have been hidden from me.
Customer service has yet to respond to my inquiries. My backup data was lost along with a large number of my contacts. The instructions were exactly followed and it failed to restore my Google Drive backup. This application was great until the time I attempted to move from an EU phone to one on a US phone. The only one that allows you to transfer large 4k videos without losing any qua The global community has been connected and it's eliminated long-distance charges. Because it uses minimal bandwidth, it is great for weak signals. You can send huge video files, 20 to more photos at once, and any other files such as pdf, jpg and pps. This app is a complete competitor to all the other messaging apps. It's the best communication tool! It's no wonder that Facebook spent so much on it. All of our WhatsApp apps can be used up-to-date. Both the sender and receiver are connected to Wi-Fi. If a message is sent to someone but doesn't get through, the receiver doesn't get a notification. It used to be a wonderful app, but it has been discontinued. Terrible design! It would be nice to have the option of tapping the screen again and making the film strip disappear (as it was in older versions). Even though the button can be used to access the gallery. WhatsApp Support claims that this functionality is intended. Images from gallery cover the camera screen You are unable to view all the images you have taken. However, when you try to save that backup to your drive it will just say "preparing to back up". The local backup is created without any problems.
Things get complicated when Drive creates the local backup. Google Drive won't allow me to back it up.
